Driver profile...

NAME: Gary Cook
D.0.B: December 20 1968
LOCATION: Sileby, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

Gary lives with his partner, Suzanne, in Sileby, Leicestershire and is a motor technician with nearby Sparrow Hill Cars. He boasts a racing career spanning over 30 years, having first started racing in National Ministox at the age of 10.

At sixteen, Gary moved on to autograss racing, winning multiple East Midlands Championships and also a number of Class Championships at club level.

In 2011 Gary decided on a new challenge in the form of rallycross. The Super Modified class of the BTRDA Rallycross Championship was entered with the plan of developing a car that would become competitive during its first season and provide some solid track experience of this new sport.

By the end of the season Gary had not only taken a number of race wins with the MG ZR but also overall victory in the Super Modified Championship.

Knockhill Racing Circuit, in Scotland, is listed as Gary's favourite track - possibly due to it being the venue at which the 2011 Championship was decided!
